This perfectly fitting metal housing is specially designed to protect your ZEISS Secacam 1 from mechanical damage, vandalism and theft attempts during outdoor use. Ideal for use in forests, on private property and in high-traffic environments where extra security is essential.
The housing is made of strong steel and completely encloses the camera without restricting functionality. Precisely cut openings for the lens, infrared sensor and LED arrays ensure unobstructed image capture. The space between the camera and the metal housing acts as a shock buffer and protects against impacts, falling branches and other external influences. The open design allows water to drain easily and prevents moisture build-up.
The metal housing is resistant to weathering and corrosion. Although the housing does not completely seal the camera from rain, splash water, dust or dirt, it significantly reduces direct exposure and provides additional protection in demanding outdoor conditions.
The power connection on the underside of the wildlife camera remains fully accessible. This allows you to easily connect an external power source without removing the camera from the housing.
Multiple mounting options are provided on the back of the metal housing:
Standard 1/4-inch thread for tripods, holders or tree belts
Eyelets for the use of a cable lock
Possibility to screw the housing
An external padlock or cable lock can be used for additional security (not included).
Designed for long-term outdoor use, the metal housing provides reliable protection against mechanical stress, animal activity and environmental influences. Installation is easy and allows flexible placement of your ZEISS Secacam 1 in a variety of locations.
