Inspired by their iconic full-sized counterpart, the Leica 8x20 Trinovid BCA binoculars feature moderate magnification and small lenses to deliver the performance users have come to expect from the brand, but in a highly portable and easy-to-carry design.
They are designed with a combination of phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, the proprietary HighLux system, and HDC fully multi-coated optics to produce bright and clear color-neutral images, while being comfortable in the hand for long, tired glass sessions. The HDC coatings provide extra abrasion resistance to protect the lens surfaces on the outside, and the lenses are also treated with AquaDura coatings that make it easy to clean dirt, grime, oil, sap and fingerprints without leaving residue that can impair vision.
Designed to easily fit in a pocket, bag or purse, the binoculars are made with a double hinge system that allows the optical tubes to fold and disappear under the closed bridge to ensure the smallest form factor when the binoculars are fully closed. This also provides wide interpupillary distance adjustment for easier use by those with narrow faces - such as children and adolescents. To keep the weight down to just 8 ounces, the aluminum alloy chassis features a protective, slip-resistant armor that is more comfortable to hold. The Trinovid BCA is light, compact and easy to use, while delivering bright and clear images. It is made to be your constant companion on the trail, at the stadium or sightseeing around the world.
