The Leica 10x32 Trinovid HD binoculars strike a delicate balance between compact and full-sized, offering the performance of the latter, and the easy portability of the former without sacrifice. Designed with the technology users have come to expect from the brand, the Trinovid features P40 phase-corrected prisms treated with their HighLux system to reduce internal light diffraction and eliminate interference for improved clarity, sharpness and contrast. The objective lenses are fully multi-coated with Leica's HDC coatings for maximum light transmission through the optical path to ensure accurate color fidelity and high-contrast images, especially in difficult lighting conditions. These technologies work together and complement each other to produce an immersive observing experience with clear and sharp images across a field of view approaching the wide-angle. For close-up viewing of small birds, insects, butterflies and other insects, the Trinovid features a powerful 10x magnification and an exceptionally short minimum focusing distance of 3.3'.
The chassis is made of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, encased in protective non-slip rubber armor. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof, and resistant to internal fogging under extreme temperature changes or conditions. A large interpupillary adjustment range, generous ±4 dioptric correction, a long eye relief of 16 mm and eyecups with four click positions ensure easy and comfortable use by most people.
