Swarovski Binoculars CL Companion Habicht 8x30
With the CL Companion Habicht 8x30, SWAROVSKI OPTIK is celebrating the company's 75th anniversary. It is our proven, compact CL Companion with the design of the Habicht: the first binoculars from SWAROVSKI OPTIK. The 8x magnification ensures comfortable observation and an impressive 132 m field of view.
REFERENCE
Magnification specifies the factor by which an object appears closer compared to the actual distance. The higher the magnification, the closer the object appears to be. However, higher magnification also means a smaller field of view. Check the exact product name, as the number before the "x" indicates the magnification. For example, 10x42 is a device with 10x magnification.
FACE
The field of view describes the size of the image area that can be seen through the optics. This is specified in meters (width) at a distance of 1000 meters (m/1000 m), or feet (width) at a distance of 1000 yards (ft/1000 yds), or as an angle (degrees). The higher the magnification, the smaller the field of view.
Binoculars have a large field of view, allowing you to see a large area. Spotting scopes have higher magnification, making the field of view much smaller
DIAMETER OF THE OBJECTIVE LENS
The diameter of the objective lens indicates how much light is allowed to enter the optic. This makes it an important factor in the performance of an instrument, for example at dusk. The larger the diameter of the objective lens, the more light the objective lens can capture. The darker the environment, the larger the diameter of the objective lens should be. Check the exact product name because the number after the "x" indicates the diameter of the objective lens in millimeters. For example, a device with the suffix 10x42 has an objective lens with a diameter of 42 mm.
SHORTEST FOCUSING DISTANCE
The shortest focusing distance specifies how close an object needs to be to see it clearly with the optics. Between this value and infinity, it is possible to focus the image.

Inspired by Generation Nature
The CL Companion Habicht celebrates the 75th anniversary of SWAROVSKI OPTIK. From the very beginning, our mission has been to inspire people to love and care for nature. This love of nature connects us, regardless of the motivation with which we enter nature. We would like to express that connection with Generation Nature. Read more about

: Generation NatureLimited anniversary edition
The CL Companion Habicht is limited to a unique edition of 1,000 pieces. Each individual pair of binoculars comes with its own certificate and is hand-numbered. This way you can be sure that you are getting a unique one-of-a-kind.
The natural differences in the appearance of leather products can lead to slight variations. However, this is a quality feature and does not negatively affect the optical quality or durability of the binoculars.
Sustainably produced
The leather for the CL Companion Habicht comes from sustainable production in Europe and is vegetable tanned. Olive leaf extracts are used for this gentle process. In terms of accessories, we also pay attention to sustainable regionality: the high-quality bag is made of fabric loden (sheep's wool), which is produced in Germany, as well as nappa leather and is lined with cotton.
