Hunting in the wilderness and other intense mountain activities require more from your outerwear. You need protection from the elements, but also clothing that moves with you and breathes easily without weighing you down. We designed this lightweight technical jacket with WINDSTOPPER® by Gore-Tex Labs technology in areas that require the most protection, while incorporating body-mapped four-way stretch panels in areas that require movement and breathability, such as the armpits and back.
Why we made this ...
We needed a solution that would protect us from heat-draining winds, but at the same time provide enough breathability to keep us dry and comfortable during active pursuits. Basically, we needed a layer that we could put on in the morning and not have to think about for the rest of the day. So we made the Mountain Evo 100% windproof in key areas, such as the chest and hood, to prevent wind from sucking out precious core heat and energy. Meanwhile, carefully mapped 4-way stretch panels at the back and under the arms allow you to quickly dissipate heat and move without restriction. By strategically combining these elements, we've created a jacket that stays comfortable in changing weather conditions and different activity levels. A jacket you never have to take off.
