A quick-release rifle mount for installing Pulsar rifle scopes on hunting guns equipped with Weaver/Picatinny type rails. The mount has a reliable flag-locking system with a block against unintentional opening. Weaver SQD locking mechanisms are secured with locking screws, so the rifle mount can withstand heavy use - multiple cycles of removal and installation, vibration and shock loads during firing, the accumulated effect of a large number of shots - including complete repeatability of mounting the rifle scope with the rifle mount on the rail, maintaining impact point (adjustment) and accuracy of fire.
