Description

Pulsar Symbion LRF DXT50 - Multispectral thermal imaging and day/night binoculars

The Symbion LRF DXT50 is an innovative multispectral binocular that combines thermal imaging technology with digital day and night vision technology in a single device, offering enhanced capabilities for detection, recognition, and identification. The Symbion LRF DXT50 produces highly detailed images across various wavelength spectra (visible light, near-infrared, and long-wave infrared), making it an extremely versatile observation tool for any time of day and under all weather conditions.

The Symbion combines the advantages of both technologies: fast object detection thanks to the highly sensitive thermal imaging channel, terrain assessment through the digital night vision channel and accurate identification of even the smallest features and details of an object in the combined picture-in-picture mode of both channels.

High-resolution Full HD thermal sensor

The high-resolution 1280 × 1024 pixels @ 12 µm thermal image sensor with a system NETD of <20 mK delivers unmatched thermal image quality and perfect detail reproduction. This is maintained even under very adverse weather conditions when thermal image contrast is low. Even the smallest temperature differences become clearly visible in rain, fog or cold mornings - the most challenging conditions for thermal imaging cameras.

4K night vision

The image generated by the Symbion LRF DXT50’s digital night vision channel stands out thanks to its 4K resolution and high-quality detail rendering. Silhouettes, anatomical differences, and behavioral characteristics are clearly displayed. The high-resolution electronics highlight an animal’s trophy characteristics and provide the hunter with the information needed to make a responsible shooting decision.

Accurate laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1,500 m

Accurately estimating the distance to the target is essential for making the right decisions. The built-in laser rangefinder, with a range of up to 1.5 kilometers, allows for distance measurements in both single and continuous measurement modes, with an accuracy of ± 1 meter.

Image stabilization

The optional image stabilizer ensures shake-free and less tiring observation, even at high magnifications. This makes it easier to track objects at long distances. Motion blur is eliminated, and quickly switching between targets and tracking fast-moving animals becomes easier, ensuring they do not disappear from view.

IR emitter

The Symbion features an integrated, invisible 850 nm IR illuminator with adjustable focus. This preserves the level of detail in the digital channel, even on completely dark nights.

User mode

The brightness and contrast settings allow you to optimize the level of detail and the information content of the image for specific observation conditions. The “User Mode” feature allows these settings to be saved in the device’s memory, ensuring that optimal image quality is immediately available the next time the device is used without the need for additional adjustments.

Advanced Pulsar Image Boost technology.

Pulsar Image Boost provides the Symbion with an exceptional level of detail, brightness, and contrast thanks to innovative image processing algorithms. The multispectral binocular image displays complex scenes in a wide range of grayscale tones, with evenly lit, low-contrast objects such as the sky, grass, and water surfaces. Software-based detail enhancement and sharpening of objects at various distances make the thermal image highly informative. Manual sensitivity adjustment of the sensor improves animal detection in deteriorating conditions. A smoothing filter and extensive brightness and contrast settings ensure comfortable, extended observation.

Bright F50/1.0 thermal imaging lens

The high-aperture lens of the Symbion LRF series, combined with the highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor, ensures maximum detection efficiency. The device always delivers sharp, detailed, and high-contrast images, even in rain or fog when temperature contrast is minimal.

9 color palettes

With a choice of 9 color palettes, users can optimize the image for specific tasks and varying observation conditions. Available palettes are:
White-Hot, Black-Hot, Red-Hot, Rainbow, Red Monochrome, Sepia, Green, and Violet.

Contrasting HD-AMOLED displays.

The two 1920 × 1080 px HD AMOLED displays deliver sharp, high-contrast, and vivid images.

Thermal image detection up to 2,300 m

A key advantage of thermal imaging technology is the early detection of animals, both during the day and at night. With its high-quality long-range optics and sensitive sensor, the Symbion DXT50 LRF can detect an object 1.8 meters tall from a distance of up to 2,300 meters in complete darkness.

Comfortable observing

The optical design is fully tailored to human vision. Binocular vision is less tiring than monocular vision and improves the detection of small or faint objects, especially in low-contrast situations. The interpupillary distance is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm for a perfect individual fit.

Classic binocular design, optimized for one-handed operation

The Symbion features the classic design of daylight binoculars with a compact size and excellent ergonomics. The 7 function buttons are easily accessible, and frequently used functions can be activated with a single press of a button. The controls can be adjusted for left- or right-handed use. A centrally located menu wheel speeds up navigation through menus and digital zooming.

Photo and video recorder

The Symbion features a built-in photo and video recorder. The internal 64 GB memory offers space for hours of video footage with sound and tens of thousands of photos. With the push of a button, you can take a photo or start recording a video.

Distance sensor for discreet use

Discreet observation in the dark prevents disturbing wildlife. In addition to the “Screen Off” feature, the Symbion has a built-in proximity sensor that automatically turns off both screens when the device is removed from your eyes and turns them back on when you pick it up.

Ergonomic and functional carrying case

The carrying case is stylish, comfortable, and practical. The device is easily accessible, and the weight is distributed evenly across the body, relieving strain on the shoulders, back, and neck. The case fits snugly without restricting freedom of movement.

Stream Vision 2 - Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices.

The built-in Wi-Fi connects the Symbion to smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 app. This enables wireless software updates, live image viewing, photo and video sharing, remote control, and access to Pulsar news. Registered users also receive free access to cloud storage.

Support for 2.4 / 5 GHz Wi-Fi

In addition to 2.4 GHz, the Symbion also supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which provides higher data speeds, better stability, and fewer interruptions.

Robust magnesium alloy housing

The lightweight yet sturdy magnesium housing protects the device from shocks, drops, moisture, and extreme temperatures, and ensures efficient heat dissipation during prolonged use.

Waterproof according to IP67

Water- and dust-resistant according to IP67. The device remains fully functional after being submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Reliable at extreme temperatures

Designed for use in a wide temperature range, the Symbion functions reliably from -25 °C to +50 °C.
