The mounting holes in the base of Pulsar riflescopes allow the mount to be installed in one of several positions. This flexibility helps the user ensure the most suitable position on a riflescope.

Quick-release mount. It is designed to mount the scope on hunting rifles equipped with rails such as Weaver or Picatinny. The mount features a reliable pin-lock system to prevent accidental opening. Weaver SQD locking mechanisms are secured with set screws, ensuring the mount can withstand intensive use—including multiple cycles of removal and installation, vibrations and shock loads during firing, and the cumulative effect of a large number of shots—including full repeatability of mounting the sight with the mount on the rail, preservation of the point of impact (adjustment), and firing accuracy.
