Description

Pulsar Merger LRF XQ35 Thermal Binoculars

The Merger LRF XQ35 is just as compact as a classic daytime binocular, making it ideal for stalking. The Merger LRF XQ35 is the lightest model in the product line and is convenient for locating game. The balanced weight distribution of these binoculars ensures an even load on the hunter’s hands, allowing for comfortable observation without fatigue—even from the least comfortable positions.

Classic Binocular Design
Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are built with the classic design of daytime binoculars. With a compact form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand while still offering attractive aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are positioned in the comfort access zone, and the most frequently used digital device functions are activated with a single press of a button.

Highly sensitive thermal sensor, developed in Europe: < 25 mK NETD / 384x288 pixels @ 17 μm
The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the highly sensitive < 25 mK NETD Lynred sensor, manufactured in Europe, which captures a usable signal even under difficult observation conditions when thermal contrast is low. Even the smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during rain, fog, and high humidity at the observation site.

Proximity sensor for covert use
Observation in the dark requires you to remain stealthy so that prey animals are not alerted by your presence. Putting the device into standby mode using the Display Off function is a common way to prevent backlighting of the eyepieces. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF features a built-in proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch to prevent exposure to backlighting in the dark. When the device is moved away from the eyes, the proximity sensor turns off both screens; when the device is brought closer, both screens turn on and provide excellent image quality.

Rugged magnesium alloy housing
The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often demanding use. Its magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and strong. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics and enhances the consistency of the device’s performance during prolonged observation.

Accurate laser range up to 1,000 m
Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. With a built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer, you can measure distances in single-shot and continuous scan modes with an accuracy of ±1 meter for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Combined dual-battery system
The Merger QX35 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, and the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees up to 11 hours of battery life. The raised markings on the housing of the replaceable battery, designed to help accurately determine its correct position, make it possible to quickly and confidently replace a dead battery with a new one by touch, even in complete darkness.

3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Selecting the signal amplification level, combined with new filtering algorithms and fine adjustments for brightness and contrast, offers hunters exceptional capabilities for long-range observation in a variety of weather and temperature conditions. The gain setting helps define the animal’s trophy characteristics and ensures a clear distinction between objects and the background within the field of view.

Built-in Photo and Video Recorder
The Merger LRF features a built-in video recorder. The Merger LRF’s internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single press of a button is all it takes to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording video.

Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates for wireless devices, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, posting photo and video content captured by the device or transferred to messaging apps to social media, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. In addition, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.

Comfortable viewing experience
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars fully accounts for the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Viewing with both eyes is less tiring than viewing with one. This results in better detection of small or faint objects and superior performance in low-contrast scenarios compared to similar monocular thermal imaging devices of the same technical level. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm to accommodate the individual characteristics of a specific user.

Fast F35/1.0 germanium lens
The germanium F35/1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Due to the high-precision manufacturing of the lens’s optical elements, the image generated by the Merger LRF XQ35 thermal imaging sensor stands out for its clarity and level of detail.

Dual Wi-Fi band support: 2.4 / 5 GHz
In Merger LRF thermal imaging cameras, the standard frequency range of the smartphone connection via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is supplemented by an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer speeds, noise immunity, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging camera with a smartphone.

High-Contrast HD AMOLED Displays
While the Merger’s HD AMOLED displays deliver sharp, high-contrast, vividly colored fields of view, AMOLED technology ensures a flawless, smooth, high-resolution image while saving energy.

A selection of 8 color palettes
With a choice of 8 color palettes, the user can observe the field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the unit for specific tasks and adapt to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the likelihood of recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for extended nighttime observation.

IPX7 submersion-rated waterproof
IPX7 waterproof rating for protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Operates in extreme temperatures from -25 to +50°C
The Merger LRF’s housing, power unit, optics, and electronics are designed for use across a wide temperature range. Merger ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing temperatures down to -25°C.
