Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 Thermal Binoculars
The Merger LRF XL50 offers the next level of thermal imaging experience. The image generated by the new 1024 x 768-pixel thermal sensor is high-definition and rich in detail. It is ideal for uncompromising antler identification. Animal silhouettes, anatomy, and behavioral characteristics are clearly visible and easily distinguishable.
Variable magnification from 2.5x to 20x provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD sensor ensures a high level of image detail across the entire magnification range. The zoom changes gradually in 2x increments or continuously to provide a customized field of view (FOV) and magnification ratio for each specific situation.
3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Selecting the signal gain level in combination with new filtering algorithms featuring fine brightness and contrast adjustments offers the hunter exceptional capabilities for long-distance observation in various weather and temperature conditions. The gain setting helps define the animal’s trophy characteristics and ensures a clear distinction between objects and the background in the field of view.
Fast F50/1.0 Germanium Lens
The Germanium F50/1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Due to the high-precision manufacturing of the lens’s optical elements, the image generated by the Merger LRF thermal imaging binocular sensor stands out for its clarity and level of detail.
Robust magnesium alloy housing
The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often rugged use. A magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and strong. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics and enhances the consistency of the device’s performance during prolonged observation.
Stream version 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates for wireless devices, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, sharing photos and videos captured by the device or transferred to messaging apps on social media, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. In addition, registered users receive 64 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
Built-in Photo and Video Recorder
The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The Merger LRF’s internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single press of a button is all it takes to take a photo of an interesting scene or start recording video. The footage is copied to a computer’s hard drive via a USB-C port. Merger LRF owners have 16 GB of free storage space in the Pulsar cloud for photos and videos captured with the device. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, log in, and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Dual Wi-Fi frequency band support: 2.4 / 5 GHz
In Merger LRF thermal imaging cameras, the standard frequency range of the smartphone connection via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel is supplemented by an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer speeds, noise immunity, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging camera with a smartphone.
High-Contrast HD AMOLED Displays
While the Merger’s HD AMOLED displays deliver sharp, high-contrast, vividly colored fields of view, AMOLED technology ensures a flawless, smooth, high-resolution image while conserving energy.
A selection of 8 color palettes
With a choice of 8 color palettes, the user can observe the field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimize the unit for specific tasks and adapt to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the likelihood of recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for extended nighttime observation.
IPX7 submersion-rated waterproof
IPX7 waterproof rating for protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Operates in extreme temperatures from -25 to +50°C
The housing, power unit, optics, and electronics of the Merger LRF are designed for use across a wide temperature range. Merger ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing temperatures down to -25°C.
Proximity sensor for covert use
Observation in the dark requires you to remain stealthy so that prey animals are not alerted by your presence. Entering standby mode with the Display Off function is a common way to prevent the eyepieces from being backlit. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF features a built-in proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch to prevent backlight exposure in the dark. When the device is moved away from the eyes, the proximity sensor turns off both screens, and when the device is brought closer, both screens turn on and provide excellent image quality.
