ProDecoys Canadian Goose 2D Windsock Decoys – Set of 12 ProDecoys Tyvek® Goose Decoys

Bring your decoy stand to life with natural movement

Experienced goose hunters know that a successful decoy display requires more than just a collection of decoys. Migrating Canada geese respond to details: movement, posture, and confidence. The Prodecoys Canada Goose 2D Windsock Decoys are designed to mimic exactly that natural appearance. Thanks to the combination of realistic 3D photo prints and a constantly moving silhouette, a lifelike decoy flock is created that looks convincing even from a greater distance.

While static decoys often create a still and unnatural appearance, these windsocks move continuously with the wind. This creates a dynamic appearance that more quickly gives overflying geese the confidence to descend and turn toward your decoy stand.

Designed for maximum realism

Natural movement makes all the difference

In goose hunting, movement is one of the most important factors for a realistic decoy display. As soon as the wind sock fills with air, it moves constantly, even in a light breeze. This creates a dynamic group image that closely resembles a foraging flock of Canada geese.

It is precisely this constant, subtle movement that increases the visibility of your decoy stand and makes it more attractive to birds flying overhead that are looking for a safe place to land.

Photorealistic finish for maximum confidence

Each decoy features a high-quality photo print of a real Canada goose. The detailed head and lifelike 3D body print create an exceptionally realistic silhouette from various viewing angles.

Even under changing lighting conditions, the contrasts and details remain clearly visible, ensuring that the decoys retain their lifelike appearance throughout the entire hunting season.

Tyvek®: designed for heavy-duty use in the field

The windsocks are made from Tyvek®, a high-quality synthetic material known for its combination of light weight, durability, and weather resistance.

In practice, this offers significant advantages:

• Very lightweight for easy transport.
• Compact and foldable, so it doesn’t take up much space.
• Resistant to rain, moisture, and mud.
• High tear and abrasion resistance during intensive use.
• Long service life thanks to excellent resistance to aging.

For hunters who regularly hunt on different plots, this means less weight in their gear and faster setup of a complete decoy stand.

A natural group arrangement

The set is designed to mimic the behavior of a relaxed group of Canada geese as realistically as possible.

The contents include:

• 8 foraging Canada goose windsocks
• 4 alert Canada goose wind socks

This variation creates a realistic balance between stillness and alertness. This prevents an unnatural, uniform appearance and increases the confidence of geese flying overhead.

For best results, place the wind socks downwind so that they fill completely and continue to move optimally.

Suitable for a variety of hunting situations

These Prodecoys windsock decoys are designed for effective use during goose hunting in a variety of terrains.

Ideal for:

• Grasslands
• Grain and corn stubble
• Farmland plots
• Open agricultural areas
• Large decoy flocks containing several dozen decoy geese
• Expansion of existing Canadian goose decoy setups

Thanks to their minimal weight, you can easily carry multiple sets with you to set up a convincing decoy group even on larger plots.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are moving windsock decoys more effective than static decoys?

The natural movement creates a lively and realistic appearance. As a result, migrating Canada geese recognize an active, foraging group more quickly and are more likely to fly into the decoy pen.

What are the benefits of Tyvek®?

Tyvek® combines light weight with high abrasion resistance. The material is resistant to moisture, tears, and heavy use, while the decoys remain easy to fold and transport.

How do I position the windsocks for the best results?

Always place the windsocks in the direction of the wind. This allows them to fill with air and creates the natural movement that makes these decoys so effective.

Is this set suitable as an addition to an existing decoy stand?

Yes. Thanks to their light weight and compact size, multiple sets can easily be combined to create a larger, even more convincing decoy display on large tracts of land.
