OXA SpikePod Hunter L – Ultralight shooting rest for wide rifle stocks

The OXA SpikePod Hunter L offers the same innovative shooting support as the Hunter, but is specially designed for hunting rifles with a wider stock or fore-end measuring more than 45 mm. This includes rifles with wider GRS or KKC stocks, as well as certain combination guns and triple-barreled rifles. Despite its larger size, the Hunter L weighs only 97 grams and remains permanently mounted on the rifle.

While hunting, you can use trees, posts, raised hides, shooting openings, tree trunks, and other available surfaces as stable supports. This gives you extra support within seconds, without having to position a separate bipod or shooting stick first.

Instant support from any shooting position

The two spikes on the SpikePod Hunter L can be operated independently of each other. This allows you to create support against vertical, slanted, and horizontal surfaces and to use the SpikePod from either side of the rifle.

The design is suitable for shooting while standing, kneeling, sitting, and lying down. This makes it particularly practical during a drive hunt, from a raised hide or hunting blind, and in situations where a stable shooting position must be found quickly.

Hunter L: specifically designed for stocks wider than 45 mm

The main difference between the two models is the width of the rifle stock:

To determine this, measure the stock at the actual mounting point. It is not the rifle brand, but rather the stock width, stock shape, and available mounting interface that determine which model is suitable.

Weighs just 97 grams and is always ready to use

Weighing just 97 grams, the Hunter L remains exceptionally lightweight. Its compact design hardly gets in the way when carrying or handling the rifle and can be quickly deployed with one hand.

Practicality has also been taken into account: the SpikePod features an integrated attachment point for the rifle sling.

Flexible mounting options

By default, the Hunter L is mounted on the lower sling swivel stud / belt loop attachment with a maximum diameter of 10 mm.

With separately available adapters, the system can also be combined with M-LOK, ARCA, UIT/Anschütz, Picatinny, and QD sling socket interfaces. The SpikePod can also be used as a mounting platform for select accessories and additional support systems.
