The Leica NOCTIVID 8x42 is a compact, robust and durable binocular with a stylish and elegant design, ideal for everyday use. These high-end binoculars offer incredible image quality. With as many as 12 glass lens elements, image quality is achieved that meets the most stringent requirements. By using high-quality SCHOTT HT (High Transmission) glass, these binoculars have an amazingly natural color reproduction. During the so-called plasma process, the highest quality coatings are evaporated under high temperature. The perfectly balanced transmission properties guarantee breathtakingly bright and true-to-life color reproduction of the image across the entire spectrum of visible light. Thanks to all these points, the Leica NOCTIVID binoculars offer an unparalleled viewing experience.
Annoying stray light is effectively suppressed thanks to the innovative and unique Leica 'baffle/diaphragm' system, in addition to reducing reflections and maximizing contrast value. Under all weather conditions, you have crystal clear viewing due to the Leica AquaDura coating. This special coating protects against scratches and wear and also ensures that dirt and fingerprints can be effortlessly removed from the lenses.
At only 15cm long and 12.4cm wide, these are very compact binoculars. You can easily hold the binoculars with one hand and the weight is centered in the palm of your hand due to the short build length. You have an excellent grip thanks to the rubberized covering, which also absorbs shocks, prevents slipping and at the same time feels very comfortable. Bring distant subjects and the smallest details into focus very quickly and razor-sharp with the newly designed focus wheel.
