Building on its tradition of optical craftsmanship and precision manufacturing, Leica delivered the 1.5-10x42 Magnus i Riflescope to provide you with uncompromising optical performance and lasting durability and safety. At the core of this riflescope is an expertly designed optical system with precision optics that provides high-contrast, high-sharpness images. To enhance the optical performance and bring the overall throughput to 92%, the optical system features full multi-coatings and a baffle system to reduce stray light. To protect the lenses from moisture and ensure clear vision in adverse weather conditions, the optical surfaces have been enhanced with the Aqua-Dura hydrophobic coating that repels water droplets. With the 42mm objective lens, this riflescope can become a reliable partner for making that perfect shot even in the challenging light conditions and delivering bright, sharp and clearly visible images. This riflescope offers all the necessary convenient features such as generous eye relief and diopter adjustment. Another central highlight of this riflescope is the L-4A reticle. Inspired by the German # 4 style, the reticle offers three medium posts, a thin reticle and an illuminated ultrafine but well-defined, brilliant red central dot. The brightness of the dot offers 60 settings and can be adjusted to suit your preferences and all lighting conditions. The reticle has a subtension of 0.5 cm (0.2") and offers a distance of 140 cm (55") in the center of the field of view. The reticle also offers parallax-free performance at 100 yards. To conserve battery life, the automatic shut-off function activates when you tilt the rifle 75° or after 3 minutes of inactivity.
To ensure durability for years to come, the housing is almost over-engineered. It is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and features a 30mm maintube with a 1.5mm thick wall for exceptional durability and safety. Other highlights include water- and fog-proof performance, low-profile turrets that can be readjusted without tools, knurled and easy-to-operate knobs and rings inside the gloves, a slim eyepiece and a redesigned battery compartment that operates more efficiently. The magnification ring also has a low-profile lever, in case you want to increase the zoom factor immediately.
