Operation is simplified thanks to the ergonomic and compact shape, intuitive operation and quick mechanical selection of day/night mode. The optimized eye relief provides a better viewing experience - and more comfortable use in daylight, thanks to the brighter adjustable display in day mode.

Fascinating observations with optimal color definition
Hunters and nature observers can count on natural, sharp, high-contrast images, thanks to the high-quality LYNRED sensor and processing software further refined by Leica (LIOâ„¢ - Leica Image Optimization). With a sampling rate of 60 Hertz, panning of the device results in a smooth image. Similarly, video recordings of moving objects are possible without annoying interruptions.
Sharp and high-contrast images
Featuring a high-quality sensor from LYNRED, the Leica Calonox 2 View LRF is state-of-the-art for hunters and nature observers. The sensor has a size of 640x480 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. This guarantees a sharp image, rich in contrast and detail. What's more, Leica thermal cameras feature a software-based shutter. This enables silent and instantaneous recalibration - without freezing the image.
Optimal viewing comfort
The generous micro-OLED display (1280 x 960 pixels) offers brilliant image sharpness and excellent image performance. Pixel binning ensures a pleasant, distortion-free viewing experience, thanks to improved light capture with less image noise. The 42 mm lens, with its wide field of view, provides optimal viewing comfort, an excellent overview of the surroundings, and fast target acquisition.
4x zoom for excellent detail recognition
With 2.5x base optical magnification and up to 4x digital zoom, standard-sized objects (1.8 meters) can be clearly spotted at distances of up to 2,417 yrd (2,210 meters). Recognition is possible at 842 yrd (770 meters), and reliable identification at 427 yrd (390 meters).
