Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF
The new Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF thermal camera is not just a further development - it is a true benchmark in design and function. Completely designed and made in Germany, it impresses with its compact ergonomic shape, practical, intuitive buttons and the world's first fully integrated laser range finder (LRF), which can be activated very easily - on the device or via optional remote control. The high-quality European sensor from LYNRED, together with Leica's proven image processing software (Leica Image Optimization - LIOâ„¢), ensures even sharper images, rich in contrast and detail. Moreover, the Calonox 2 Sight LRF no longer requires individual calibration, but can be used out-of-the-box and interchanged between rifles.
* Fully designed and made in Germany
* The only premium thermal camera with fully integrated range finding up to 1312 yrd (1200 meters)
* No additional calibration required (use "out of the box")
* Large field of view and highly detailed image, optimal viewing comfort
* Extremely easy operation with a few intelligent buttons
For the first time with integrated laser range finder
The new Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF thermal camera is a true benchmark in design and function. Designed and made in Germany, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF convinces users with the world's first fully integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) up to 1200 meters - enabling safe and ethical hunting.
Large field of view and highly detailed image
Hunters and nature observers can count on natural, sharp, high-contrast images, thanks to the high-quality LYNRED sensor and processing software further refined by Leica (LIOâ„¢ - Leica Image Optimization). Along with a large field of view, objects with the standard size of 66.9 inches (1.7 meters) can be found clearly up to 2417 yrd (2210 meters). Recognition is possible at 842 yrd (770 meters) and reliable identification at 427 yrd
Easy to switch between different rifles
Thanks to the most precise components and an advanced manufacturing process, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF is delivered precisely centered. This eliminates the need for individual calibration of the clip-on camera, allowing it to be used out-of-the-box and interchanged between rifles. The point of impact does not change even if the unit is removed and reassembled repeatedly.
Light and compact device with the right rifle scope
The Calonox 2 Sight LRF can be used with most commercially available rifle scopes. When combined with the Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i L-4w BDC (MoA), a perfect unit is created: a compact total system for night hunting. Mounting is via standard adapters, which are available for almost all scopes.
Optional remote control for activating the laser rangefinder
The fully integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) can be easily activated via the optional remote control. This remote control easily attaches to the comb or front head and activates the rangefinder or photo/video function.
Software-controlled shutter is quiet and smooth
Conventional thermal cameras recalibrate themselves periodically with an audible "click" and a frozen frame. Leica Calonox 2 thermal cameras are designed to be "shutterless." Leica software enables silent and immediate recalibration - without freezing the image.
Easy to switch from day to night mode
Like all Leica products, the Leica Calonox 2 Sight LRF can be operated intuitively. A large, sturdy metal control ring turns the unit on - and makes it easy to switch from day to night mode. A magnetic locking switch keeps the device engaged during a switchover, saving time.
