IR flashlight can be used in conjunction with optical products, such as handheld thermal cameras and digital night vision scopes. It uses infrared light as supplementary light to improve image quality.
When there is not enough light available, for example due to thick clouds covering the moon and stars, an IR illuminator can come in handy. This illuminator emits infrared radiation in the direction it is pointed, making the weather easily visible through the night vision scope.
Infrared radiation emitted from an LED lamp with a wavelength of 850 nm (nanometers) is not perceptible to the human eye. Therefore, what is being observed will not be affected by the HikMicro Pro 850 Nm IR Illuminator. This illuminator has a range of 200 meters.
Weighing 150 grams, this infrared illuminator is easy to hold or can be attached to night vision goggles via a mount. It operates for up to 5.5 hours on a fully charged HM-3632DC battery or HM-3633DC battery, which are available separately.
