HECK-PACK Diana Adapter Plate – separate part for mounting on the game carrier
The HECK-PACK Diana adapter plate serves as the essential connection between the HECK-PACK game carrier and the Diana game rack. With this original adapter, a compatible existing HECK-PACK rear carrier can be prepared for use with the Diana game rack / breaking rack, without requiring a completely new carrying system.
A practical solution for hunters who want to retrofit their existing HECK-PACK game carrier into a complete system for game transport and professional game care in the field.
For mounting the Diana game rack on the HECK-PACK game carrier
The adapter plate was specifically designed to integrate the HECK-PACK Diana game rack with the HECK-PACK rear carrier.
The adapter is mounted between the game carrier and the one-handed quick-release system. The Diana’s guide mechanism is inserted into it.
The big advantage of this is that even an existing HECK-PACK game carrier can be retrofitted for use with the Diana. This means you don’t have to choose a complete game-hanging configuration right when you purchase the game carrier.
From game carrier to complete game processing system
A HECK-PACK game carrier was originally developed for the practical transport of hunted game outside the vehicle’s trunk. With the Diana adapter plate, this system can be expanded to include a professional solution for gutting and processing big game while it is suspended.
The complete Diana game rack is placed inside the adapter structure and rests all the way to the ground during use. As a result, the weight of the suspended game is not borne solely by the tow hook or game carrier, but is transferred to the ground via the structure.
This design principle is particularly important when hanging and processing heavier big game.
Ideal for retrofitting your HECK-PACK
Do you already have a HECK-PACK game carrier and want to combine it with a Diana game rack later on? Then this separate adapter plate serves as the foundation for the upgrade.
That’s what makes the HECK-PACK system modular: you can start with a game carrier for transporting game and later expand it with components for game storage and processing.
When combined with the right Diana parts, this creates an integrated system for storing, transporting, hanging, and butchering game.
Designed for serious field use
Significant forces are generated when hanging large game. An adapter within such a system must therefore be more than just a simple connector.
The original HECK-PACK adapter plate is designed to match the construction and mounting of the Diana system. This ensures the correct connection between the game carrier, the mounting bracket, and the game gallows, rather than using a universal or improvised mounting solution.
A suitable system solution is essential, especially for hunters who use their equipment regularly and under harsh conditions.
Part of the HECK-PACK Diana game rack
The HECK-PACK Diana is a three-piece portable game rack for processing and gutting shot game while it is suspended. The complete Diana is suitable for game weighing up to 120 kg and reaches a maximum suspension height of approximately 240 cm.
With the right adapter, this system can be used directly with the HECK-PACK game carrier—which is practical for individual hunts, wildlife management, and driven hunts where big game must be processed directly in the field.
