.223 / .308 Marksman reticles are designed to be accurate when the scope is adjusted to maximum magnification in use. The prominent center cross is used as a 100 yard zero. Once set to zero, the remaining hold-over targets, up to 600 yards, fall into place. The reticle can also be used for 100 yard zero and with target points up to 600 yards, by reducing the magnification accordingly. The distance markings are glass-etched for your reference. Hawke has done the complicated ballistic math, so you don't have to!
