The Wildwood GTX Women’s boots weigh just 520 g per boot, making them one of Härkila’s lightest models. They feature a medium-height, 6”/15 cm shaft and a standard-width last. The boots are specifically designed for the shape of a woman’s foot and are not simply a narrower version of the men’s model. The Wildwood GTX Women’s boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During manufacturing, all shoe membranes are tested in a water bath to ensure they are waterproof. Härkila then conducts a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of the total shoe production. This is to ensure that the membrane is of the highest quality. The shoe’s upper is made of extremely durable Cordura with leather reinforcements, and high-quality soles ensure a solid grip on all surfaces. The shoes also feature a shock-absorbing midsole, ideal for long-distance hikes or walking on very rugged terrain. They are reinforced with a highly durable material around the toes and heel, where wear and tear is typically the greatest. Designed and made in Europe!
As with all of their shoes, Härkila offers a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, should any occur.
