In cold weather, the vulnerable areas of the upper body—between the back and the lower back—are provided with additional heating elements built into the vest.
Using the smartphone app, you can set the exact desired temperature between 30°C and 52°C. The heating elements can also be set to 38°C, 46°C, or 52°C using the push button on the chest, without needing the app, so you’re not dependent on your smartphone.
Unlike older heating technologies, the heating elements are flexible enough to be folded and stored along with the garment into which they are sewn. The jacket can also be machine-washed without any problems.
The right pocket of the waistcoat contains a waterproof USB port, allowing you to connect a power bank of your choice. With a 10,000 mAh power bank, the waistcoat can maintain its highest temperature of 52°C for approximately 7 hours at an outside temperature of 0°C. To conserve energy, the heating elements automatically go into standby mode as soon as the waistcoat reaches the set temperature. They then automatically turn back on when the temperature drops 1–2 degrees below the set level.
Because the waistcoat has a heat regulator, the heating element turns off when your body gets warm from physical activity and turns back on when you’re sitting or standing still.
The jacket has two side pockets, one inside pocket, a radio pocket on the left chest, and comes with a dry bag for storage.
