The FUD Gray Goose is an exceptionally practical and realistic decoy for goose hunting. These foldable decoys combine a lifelike appearance with a lightweight design and a very compact size. This makes it easy to take multiple decoys with you into the field, without having to carry large decoy bags or bulky plastic decoys.
The set includes six foldable gray geese, six anchors, anchor rope, a handy carrying hook, and a tactical manual with practical tips. The decoys can be used on the water as well as on grasslands and stubble fields. This makes it a versatile decoy set for a wide range of hunting situations.
A good decoy must be convincing not only at close range. Approaching geese, in particular, often view a decoy from a great height and from various angles. The FUD Gray Goose is therefore equipped with a lifelike 3D shape and a detailed UV photo print.
This print convincingly replicates the natural plumage, color transitions, and distinctive markings of the gray goose. Even in bright daylight, the decoy retains its natural appearance. The combination of shape, color, and detail ensures that the decoys blend seamlessly into a flock of resting or foraging geese.
By positioning multiple FUD decoys in different ways, you can easily create a varied and natural-looking display.
Traditional decoy geese can take up a lot of space. Especially if you want to bring several decoys to create a convincing display, transporting them can be quite a challenge. The FUD Gray Goose is fully foldable and therefore extremely compact.
The six decoys can be easily attached to the included carrying hook. This makes it easy to take the entire set with you to the hunting grounds. The light weight is especially convenient when you have to walk a longer distance or are carrying a rifle, ammunition, camouflage net, and other gear in addition to the decoys.
Once you’re at your desired location, the decoys can be quickly unfolded and are ready for use. Afterward, you can fold them back up compactly so they take up minimal space in your car or storage area.
FUD decoys are designed to always float correctly. It doesn’t matter how you place them in the water or cast them in. Thanks to their clever design, they automatically settle into the correct position.
Using the included anchors and anchor rope, you can secure each decoy goose in the desired location. This prevents the decoys from drifting away due to wind or currents. Slight variations in the length of the anchor rope and the distance between them create a more natural-looking scene on the water.
The decoys are suitable for use in the following situations, among others:
Although the FUD Greylag Goose works excellently as a floating decoy, this set is not intended solely for use on the water. The decoys can also be placed on grasslands, fields, and stubble fields.
Thanks to the realistic photo print and recognizable shape, they remain convincingly visible even on land. By placing the decoys in small groups and leaving enough space open for approaching geese, you can create an attractive decoy display.
You can combine the FUDs with a few decoys depicting geese standing, feeding, or resting to add more variety and depth to your setup.
Wind direction, terrain, and flight path determine the best way to position a decoy. Because FUD decoys are lightweight and easy to move, you can easily adjust their placement during the hunt.
If the wind changes or the geese appear to be approaching from a different direction, you can quickly reposition the decoys without having to rebuild the entire setup. The included tactical guide also offers helpful tips for placing and using the decoy geese.
The FUD Gray Goose is particularly appealing to hunters looking for a compact and lightweight alternative to large plastic decoys. The set is quick to set up and suitable for both land and water.
The main advantages are:
Do you want to set up a realistic decoy display without having to carry large quantities of bulky decoy geese? Then the FUD Greylag Goose is a particularly practical choice. With six foldable decoys, a complete anchoring system, and a handy carrying hook, you’ll immediately have a versatile basic set for use on the water, grasslands, and stubble fields.
