DKWAI Greylag Ghost Lure Whistle The Ultimate Graylag Goose Lure Whistle (Acrylic)

The DKWAI Greylag Ghost Graylag Goose Whistle is the absolute top model for those who want to leave nothing to chance when luring graylag geese. This decoy whistle was developed in close collaboration between DKWAI and legendary goose decoy designer Buck Garner. The development process took several years and resulted in a high-quality series of decoy whistles: Buster, Hammer and, as the ultimate refinement, the Ghost.

The Greylag Ghost is designed to faithfully reproduce the full vocal range of the greylag goose. From deep, low grunts to sharp high-pitched calls and the characteristic "chattering" throat sounds: where many other decoy whistles stop, this one really begins.

Unique features and benefits

• Full tone range of the gray goose - From low contact sounds to aggressive calls and subtle chatter sounds

• Developed with Buck Garner & DKWAI - Years of expertise and field testing combined into one lure whistle

• Hand tuned and tested - Each lure whistle is personally tuned and checked by Eric Paulsen, with over 20 years of experience in the U.S.

• Hand-cut reed - No mass production; each whistle gets exactly the right character

• Made of high quality acrylic - Insensitive to moisture and cold, always a stable sound

• Long range - With practice, geese can be effectively lured up to several hundred yards

Sound possibilities in detail

The DKWAI Greylag Ghost is distinguished by its ability to handle multiple layers of sound:

• Low, quiet grunts for confidence at a distance

• Middle tones for communication within the group

• High shouts to attract attention in wind or greater distance

• Fast, chattering guttural sounds for realism and group dynamics

It is precisely this combination that makes the Ghost so convincing, even with geese that have already experienced decoy pressure.

Applications and uses

This decoy whistle is ideal for:

• Luring greylag ge ese during management and damage control situations

• Situations with heavily hunted game, where standard decoys fall short

• Open polders, large bodies of water and extensive fields

• Combination with lure geese (fullbodies or shells) for a complete lure image

With some practice, the Greylag Ghost becomes an extension of your breathing and timing, keeping the lure natural and believable.

Why the DKWAI Greylag Ghost is better than alternatives

Many goose decoy whistles can sound either loud or subtle, but rarely both. The DKWAI Greylag Ghost combines:

• More dynamics

• More control

• More realism

Thanks to the hand-cut reed and acrylic body, the sound remains consistent regardless of weather conditions. This makes this decoy whistle reliable at times when it really needs to be right.

Additional advantages for the user

• No problems with freezing or moisture

• Long life span by acrylic construction

• Suitable for both advanced and ambitious users

• Each one unique and individually tuned
