The exterior of the jacket is made of ultralight 15D polyamide with a special DWR impregnation that repels light rain.
The jacket's fill is made of AIRFLAKE fibers, which are made from 100% recycled polyester and are the synthetic equivalent of duck down. The fibers are as light and fluffy as down and have similar thermal capacity, but they recover fully after being compressed or getting wet and return to their original state when unwrapped or dried, unlike duck down. So you can be confident that the jacket will retain its insulating capacity even after much use.
